    Its an other option to long speedboat trips, and you will be taken to somewhere else than the usual hot-spots. Small group sizes give these tours an exclusive, almost private feel.The tours are also done locally without going to the open sea, which makes those trips very comfortable and reduces travelling time.We can offer different options from snorkeling to fishing, depending on what you want to do.

    Mangrove Kayaking Tour

    Unknown to many Khao Lak is home to a beautiful and almost undiscovered mangrove eco system with rivers, jungles and forests. Khao Lak’s mangrove cover an area of over 60 square kilometres, and it is now possible to experience this breathtaking and tranquil environment with a long-tail boat and by kayaking. This is a small group trip with only maximum 6 people to keep it as exclusive and relaxed as possible.

    Itinerary

    Transfer by taxi to the pier in a small fishing village.
    Cruise through the beautiful scenery on a comfortable long-tail boat.
    Kayak deep into the mangrove forest. Sometimes you can enocounter monkeys, snakes, different kinds of birds or even otters.
    Relax on a floating base with a cup of coffee and fresh fruit.
    Swim and relax in the hidden lagoon.
    Return to the pier.

    Who says you need to travel for hours and hours for good snorkelling? Spend a day exploring the underwater world of the Khao Lak coastline and relax on the beach. This tour is ideal for families and those who want a perfect day snorkelling close to Khao Lak. 

    Mangrove Fishing & Relaxing Adventure

    The Khao Lak mangroves provide a sheltered nursery for all kinds of marine life. On his tour you will be taken to some of the best fishing locations in the mangroves. You can spend your time fishing and relaxing amongst beautiful surroundings. This trip is all about relaxing and having a good time. We do not guarantee you to catch fish.

    The coast around Khao Lak is made up of misty mountains, lush jungles, small islands, rocks and reefs. This is a fantastic place to see birds and often fish jumping from the water. The tour is a must do for anyone who wants to escape the world and enjoy the beauty of the Khao Lak coastline in style.

    How Bookings Work

    To enquire or book, the best way is to just use this contact form here. Next to your name, nationality and amount of guests, we need the name of your hotel – and your room number once you checked in. During your stay in Khao Lak your hotel and room number is like an ID for every operator and driver through which we can easily identify you and get in touch with you. Hint: if you have booked your tour well in advance and don’t know your room number until check-in – just show your E-Voucher to your hotel staff after check-in and ask them to inform us about your current room number for our pickup roster.

    The final confirmation of your booking via email will mention “Confirmation: date, destination, amount of guests” in the subject of our confirmation email, as well as include an E-Voucher PDF attached. If you have a mobile device, you don’t need to print this E-Voucher, just show it to the driver on your phone.

    Payment

    You can pay for the tour in advance via PayPal or with cash or credit card at our office.

    Cancellation Policy

    Until 24 h before tour departure you can cancel your tour anytime via email or phone call. If you don’t have any means of communication, just show the E-Voucher to your hotel reception and ask them to cancel the tour for you.

    Cancellations within 24 hours of tour departure require a 50% payment of the tour price!

    Note that if you do not show up on the tour day, there is a 100 % charge as we already prepared the tour for you!

    Weather & Sea Conditions

    Due to our sheltered location in the mangroves, these trips can be operated all year round and in all weathers. The exception is the Local Snorkeling and Deserted Beach trip, which only operates in the high season when the water is clear. Usually this is between November and May.

    Due to tidal conditions the timings of some trips may vary each day. The average length of our trips is 4-6 hours.

    Medical Advice

    These Trips are not recommended for:

    • Anyone with mobility restrictions
    • Heavily pregnant women
    • Anyone suffering from a serious medical complaint. e.g. heart conditions, respiratory problems or back pain.

    Please be advised that the history of previous illness or medical condition may void the insurance!
